أطلق نائب رئيس الحكومة وزير الصحة العامة في حكومة تصريف الأعمال غسان حاصبني "الحملة الوطنية للتوعية على سرطان الثدي 2018"، التي تنظمها وزارة الصحة العامة، في احتفال اقيم بعد ظهر اليوم في حرج بيروت، تحت عنوان "مشوار ما بينتسى"، حضره محافظ بيروت القاضي زياد شبيب، الفنانة إليسا، نقيب مستوردي الخضار والفاكهة، نقيبة الممرضات والممرضين ميرنا ابي عبد الله ضومط، ممثلة نقابة الأطباء الدكتورة لودي أبو رضا، عقيلة الوزير حاصباني السيدة نادين عبد الساتر حاصباني، وممثلون للهلال الأحمر القطري والهلال الأحمر الكويتي، إضافة إلى ممثلين عن قادة الاجهزة الامنية والعسكرية، وممثلين عن مستشفيات حكومية ومنظمات دولية، واعضاء اللجنة الوطنية لحملة سرطان الثدي وفاعليات صحية ونقابية وجامعية وجمعيات المجتمع المدني وطلاب جامعات من الاختصاصات الطبية والصحية واعلاميين.

أطلقت وزارة الصحة العامة في احتفال أقامته في مقرها، اليوم الوطني لمكافحة البدانة عند الاطفال، تحت شعار "سوا لصحة أفضل"، تخللها عشر نصائح تراوحت ما بين "النوم لعشر ساعات على الأقل، وتسع ضحكات من القلب، وعناق مليء بالحب، وسبع أكواب مياه، وتناول الفواكه والحبوب والبروتين، الى ممارسة الرياضة لساعة يوميا، واستخدام الالعاب الألكترونية ومشاهدة التلفاز لأقل من ساعة يوميا"...

Deputy Prime Minister and Health Minister Ghassan Hasbani launched the Policy Support Observatory (PSO), the product of collaboration between the Ministry of Public Health, WHO and the AUB – the Faculty of Health Sciences. Deputy Prime Minister and Health Minister Ghassan Hasbani launched the Cancer Treatment Guidelines at Beit El Tabib in collaboration with the UNDP.
The ceremony started with a statement delivered by Mrs. Arian Almas from the UNDP followed by that of the President of the AUB Dr. Fadlo Khuri who stated that the project started in 2010 when Health Ministry and the UNDP submitted a request for the development of the best cancer treatment guidelines according to international specifications and standards. The National committee was then formed and included a number of renowned oncologists in Lebanon.
