أطلق وزير الصحة العامة الدكتور حمد حسن خدمة التنبيهات الصحية على الواتساب باللغتين العربية والإنكليزية لإطلاع الجمهور على آخر المستجدات المتعلقة بفيروس كورونا؛ كما أطلق برنامجا مبتكرا أعده طلاب من الجامعة اللبنانية يهدف لتتبع الحالات المصابة بفيروس كورونا أو المشتبه بإصابتها، في خطوتين تهدفان إلى رفع الجهوزية لمواجهة فيروس كورونا، وذلك خلال مؤتمر صحافي حضره رئيس الجامعة اللبنانية البروفسور فؤاد أيوب وممثلة منظمة الصحة العالمية في لبنان الدكتورة إيمان الشنقيطي ونائب المدير الإقليمي للمنظمة الدكتورة رنا حجي والمدير العام لوزارة الصحة الدكتور وليد عمار وعدد من المهتمين

 ترأس وزير الصحة العامة الدكتور حمد حسن اجتماعا هو الأول للمجلس الصحي الأعلى وخصص لتقييم المرحلة السابقة والتحضير للمرحلة المقبلة من انتشار وباء كورونا، بحيث يتم رفع الجهوزية المشتركة لاحتواء الموجة الثانية من الإصابات والبقاء لأطول مدة ممكنة في المرحلة الحالية التي تعني وجود حالات إصابة ضمن مجموعات محددة جغرافيا.

 تسلم وزير الصحة العامة الدكتور حمد حسن نظامين تقنيين من شركة "هواوي"، الأول يساعد على الإتصال المرئي بين وزارة الصحة العامة ومستشفيات في لبنان وفي خارجه، والثاني عبارة عن توفير خدمة الذكاء الإصطناعي للمساعدة على تشخيص دقيق لـCOVID-19 (Artificial Intelligence Assisted CT-Scan، علما أنه يمكن استخدام هذا النظام بعد انقضاء الجائحة للمساعدة على تشخيص أمراض خطرة أخرى مثل سرطان الرئة.
