On 1 December, the National Tuberculosis and AIDS Program joins partners and key vulnerable communities to commemorate World AIDS Day 2024 under the theme launched by the World Health Organization: “Take the rights path: My health, my right!”.
Everyone has the right to access healthcare services—without discrimination—including HIV prevention, treatment, and care. Combating barriers like stigma and discrimination is essential to upholding human rights.
In this context, the Ministry of Public Health, through the National Tuberculosis and AIDS Program, offers prevention, diagnosis, and treatment services for people living with HIV and other key populations with the support of the International Organization for Migration and in collaboration with civil society organizations, protecting the health of individuals and communities.
