Deputy Prime Minister Health Minister Ghassan Hasbani received “Human Right” Ambassador Mrs. Antoinette Chahine who offered him her book entitled “My crime is that I was innocent” published by Dar An-Nahar. The book is about her past experience when she was arrested at the time of the Lebanese-Syrian Security Regime and sentenced to death. Her death sentence was then commuted to life imprisonment before she was set free for acquittal. The book also repots the international support of Human Right Organizations to her case, and her experience as an activist in Human rights’ issues, as she travelled the world to urge full respect for human dignity and rejection of violence...
